Marcus Amendola, a native of a small, rural Ohio town, where he was grounded in a strong Catholic community and faith. He was academically and athletically successful in high school, earning more scholarships than his peers and being a part of a state championship basketball team. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in mechanical engineering and, against the odds, secured a job at a Fortune 100 company during the 2008-2009 recession.
In a display of God’s grace, Marcus’s life was further blessed with his wife, Stephanie, also an engineer. He pursued an MBA from Wake Forest University and became a successful marketing professional, managing a multi-million dollar product portfolio. His family grew with the birth of his son, Samuel, after several failed pregnancies in 2018 and then adopted his daughter, Jacqueline in 2021.
His career then shifted towards business development and entrepreneurship, culminating in the ownership of his own business with over 40 employees and sales exceeding $4 million. However, when the business failed and he faced bankruptcy, he felt utterly alone. It was during this profound trial that God and the Holy Spirit began to transform him, cultivating selflessness and servant leadership, and allowing him to come home with joy to his wife and children. Emerging from this season, he felt called to serve men, ensuring no man would have to face their biggest struggles alone. This led him to transition into coaching and a part-time ministry, where he now focuses on building organizations to develop the next generation of leaders.
